Théodore, jeune écolier innocent, s'étonne de la violence qu'il voit dans le monde, par la radio et la télévision. Dieu est censé aider les gens, empêcher la violence. Que fait-il ? Théodore a donc une idée : il deviendra lui aussi Dieu et l'aidera à rendre tout le monde heureux ! Il rencontre alors Fahres. "Je serai ton plus grand fidèle, si tu me promets qu'une fois devenu Dieu, tu aideras les gens que j'aime." Commence donc l'histoire de Théo et Fahres, et de tous les autres membres de leur club, "Les Divinités Associées".
