Il y a quelques années, le monde fut ravagé par des monstres à l’apparence humaine, appelés « Les Conquérants ». Après avoir tué la reine régente de ce monde, ils disparurent aussi vite qu’ils n’étaient arrivés, laissant derrière eux ce monde pour mort. Mais un jour, sans crier gare, les Conquérants revinrent, tandis que le monde se reconstruisait petit à petit. Mallow, une adolescente à qui les Conquérants ne sont pas tout à fait des inconnus, va tenter de rétablir la paix, et de perpétuer un certain projet…
