Virtual Mind est un manga qui suit l'histoire de Judas Tanaka, un jeune homme de 17 ans vivant dans un monde où les injustices et les déséquilibres sociaux sont monnaie courante. Judas aspire à rendre le monde meilleur et à corriger ces injustices. Il se retrouve rejeté de l'université qu'il souhaitait intégrer en raison de ses aspirations divergentes. Cependant, sa vie prend un tournant lorsqu'il découvre une mystérieuse application nommée "Écho" qui lui permet de communiquer avec une IA.
